Certification in ISO 9001:2000 means that Avlon will be measuring and improving its business processes as a whole, not just final product inspection. All of our top executives will be involved in monitoring and improving our businesses processes. For example, if you were to call into our customer service department (800-332-8566) and leave a complaint, it would be recorded, tracked, and acted upon within the organization. Often times I will personally respond to a customer complaint.

Secondly, ISO 9001:2000 certification will help aide Avlon's commitment to offering the highest quality products available, as we will be monitoring and improving our design and development processes, which are already first rate. Many companies in the hair care industry don't even design, let alone manufacture, their own products which speaks to their long-term commitment to professional hair stylists.
